What to expect? ...

To put things simply, you can expect to have a good time with like-minded people! Come ready to meet fellow deviants, feel free to bring tools of the trade (camera, sketch book, portfolio, etc.), remember to eat a hearty lunch or bring money for a snack ... and you'll be set! As my Mom would say, it never hurts to wear a smile.

The deviantMEET starts at 2:00 PM and lasts until we're all exhausted.

From 2:00 to 2:30 we'll meet and greet around the Albert Memorial, allowing deviants to make their way to the meeting place.

Shortly after, $spyed will make a quick speech about what to expect for the day ... good times, meeting fellow artists, laptop demos for upcoming technology releases (Groups, Portfolio, and search engine enhancements), and the general opportunity to hang out with deviants who are just like you.

Next, it's time for the famous group shot!

Once the shot has been perfected and we've ensured the lens cap was off and no one had their eyes closed, $spyed will split the crowd into subgroups ... photographers, traditional artists, digital artists, and so on. These subgroups allow for the opportunity to get to know, and learn from, deviants who share your passion and are local to your community.

During this time, some deviants will choose to join small group demos lead by Devious Technology team members for a sneak peek of what's to come in the coming months.

From then on, it's just hanging out, relaxing, and having fun. FTW!

Glad to hear that you'll be joining us! Keep in mind that London is deviantART's largest city (by population, London has the largest concentration of deviants anywhere in the world). As a result, we're expecting to see quite a few deviants arrive at Albert Memorial. Be sure to be on your best behavior.
