Dr Pepper Contest Mural Photo Op

Location: Melrose & Larchmont in Los Angeles, California

The winners have been selected for Dr Pepper's Pepperland Contest and the winning artwork, Fuel Yourself by ~ArtKat, has been recreated as a mural in Los Angeles!

We're flying ~ArtKat to Los Angeles to celebrate her win – and you're invited! Come see the mural, take pictures, congratulate and meet ~ArtKat, talk with deviantART staff, interact with the team that built deviantART muro, and meet the people who coordinated the contest!

I'm trappedWanting something, and waiting. How I long to show my face to the world. Living under such conditions shouldn't be that bad. I want to go see the world I see from my window, but I can't because I've been trapped. I live in the dark, in the cave, alone. The only light I get is from the TV. Static, static is what I watch on the TV. But thats okay. Because I see birds flying free into the sky, people greeting each other with a "hello." Oh how I want to see that world. I want to. For You Chapter Three
The food, admittedly, smelled odd to Rene. Likely it was because he hadn't ever had bacon - or scallions, not that he knew what they were. His ears perked at the clink of Wren's fork, and he looked over to her immediately, immediately concerned when she excused herself. He made no such excuse, and after a moment followed after her, food long-forgotten. He didn't like her with that look. She didn't look like Wren.

"Wren?" he asked, knocking awkwardly at the door, and after a moment, opened it. He'd never been one for human manners, anyway. However, he was immediately by Wren's side when he saw her.

Wren was waiting for him inside the house, and grasped his paw gently with a squeeze before letting go to face the music.

Waiting next to the stairwell was an older woman with dyed red hair, tons of make up on, and was wearing the current fashion of the fads along with so many jewels on her it appeared that she was drowning in them. She was done up, but there was an air of distaste as well as look as Wren approached her.

"Greetings, my Father's Aunt in Law. " Wren said, mechanically, giving a curtsy.

The woman frowned. "Where have you been, Ugly Brat?" Her shrill voice asked accusingly.

Who would have thought it would come to this...

Tenten sat in the hospital hallway on a long bench, staring at her hands that were clasped together tightly together. Being a ninja, putting your life on the line for the village is simply just part of the job.  If you didn't die on a mission, that would just mean that you have another chance to on the next one you were assigned.  This was the world that Tenten and her friends lived in.  Most days, she was proud that she could call herself a kunoichi.
