How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Dragon*Con is just around the corner!

Dragon*Con -- the Atlanta, Georgia based convention that brings together pop culture lovers, sci-fi and fantasy enthusiasts, gamers, and artists -- is just a couple of weeks away. And we want to know if you're attending!

We're going! Are you?
DeviantART admins $techgnotic and $Heidi will be in attendance, checking out all that Dragon*Con has to offer. If you live in the Atlanta area and/or will be at Dragon*Con, we want to hear from you! Let us know in the comments of this blog. (We're especially interested in meeting deviants who consider themselves Dragon*Con veterans. We've never attended the convention before, so we'd be entirely appreciative of hanging out with a couple of experts who didn't mind showing us around.)

  What is Dragon*Con?
Dragon*Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe.  Informative panels, games, film festivals, art exhibits, and live music are just a few of the things that Dragon*Con has to offer.  Held over Labor Day weekend (September 2nd to 5th), this will be Dragon*Con's 25th anniversary, and they're celebrating by hosting their largest event to date!

We're expecting to have tons-o-fun and want to hang out and meet with as many deviants as possible.  So, if you're planning on attending or know someone who will be, please be sure to let us know!
