:star: deviantART muro now integrated into Profile Page comments!

Our HTML5 drawing tool took the interwebz by storm when released this past August. We saw some truly amazing deviations submitted and lots of fun being had in the DrawPLZ Forum. Because of this, in September we gave you the ability to use deviantART muro in News and Journal comments.

After taking the community's feedback into consideration, we feel the next logical step is to allow you to share deviantART muro creations on Profile Pages. As of this moment, you now have the ability to visually communicate on Profile Pages using deviantART muro! Because our community is comprised of artists and art appreciators, we have come to believe that text can be constraining--some things are not meant to be expressed in words. With that in mind, we are confident that you all will enjoy this new functionality. After all, the cliché says: a picture is worth 1,000 words! :typerhappy:

:dummy: Check it out!

When commenting on another member's Profile Page, you will now see a new button that says "Add a Drawing". Just click that to add your visual message. Give it a try, start visually communicating in unprecedented ways!

:groucho: Black and white kind of person?

In the chance that you prefer to receive only text comments on your Profile, you can disable deviantART muro comments by going to your Settings and clicking the checkbox "Disable comment drawings on your userpage."

:threaten: What if I receive inappropriate messages on my Profile Page?

If you receive a comment that is inappropriate or Mature Content, you can hide it by clicking the "Hide Comment" option. Additionally, you will also have the ability of reporting deviantART muro comments as spam by clicking the "Report Spam" link. Lastly, if you want to stop a user from leaving any type of comments on your Profile Page, you can always add them to your Blocked Users list in Settings.

:eager: What's next for deviantART muro? What do you think about deviation page integration?

With all the positive feedback from our community about deviantART muro, we want to know your thoughts on the possibility of adding visual comments to deviations. Would you want to allow users to comment visually on your submitted artwork? They would, of course, have disable options for those not interested in receiving such comments. Please let us know! Your responses to this blog will help us determine if we make it happen.

Enjoy the new functionality and stay awesome! :la:
